Well, school just started in August and I don't think anyone was as excited as I was! I doubt I would have been as excited if I was the one having to get up early, go to classes, study, and take tests, but this year I was simply ready to have all of my college friends back in town! Greenville is not the same without them!
My friend Amanda and I decided that we were long overdue for a movie night; however, there are so many classic movies to chose from, it took us a while to settle on one. Amanda confessed that she had been wanting to watch White Christmas for quite a while, which was quite a suprise to me since she is usually one of the people who will not allow anything Christmas until at least the first of December. White Christmas is one of my all time favorite movies, so I can't turn down an opportunity to watch it!

Now that we had selected a movie, the theme for the night just fell into place. A Christmas in September seemed just ridiculous enough to lead to quite an eventful night! We planned to dress in our winter garb, make chili for dinner, drink hot chocolate, and decorate sugar cookies while watching one of the greatest Christmas movies EVER! I, however, decided that I wanted to put up all of my Christmas decorations to make the night extra festive! This turned out to be very informative, a trial run for December. For example, I learned that I am not going to be able to put any Christmas ornaments on the bottom of the tree unless I would like my sweet little kitty to topple the whole thing over...

Well, the night turned out to be quite a success! I loved catching up with my friends and being able to spend some quality time singing Christmas carols and laughing until my stomach hurt! I am truly blessed to have such wonderful people in my life and maybe Christmas in September will become a new tradition in our household.
Gosh i hope so!!! It was freakin amazing!! You are the super extreme party planner, I love it :)
