So I have offically been the worst blogger EVER. It has been approximately 8 months since I've posted.... Yikes! I've been such a slacker!!! Timmy and I are wonderful and time has just flown by! It's been a blur since the New Year (yes, that is the last time I posted... SAD.) So here is a quick 8 month update!
Toward the end of January Timmy and I made the move down to Columbia, SC because Timmy was offered a teaching job at his old high school! He was very excited to quit the jail, as was I! He has dived in, feet first into teaching and has done wonderfully. I am a proud wife! We also were lucky enough to be able to rent a HOUSE!!! WOOHOO!!! No more town home where I hear our neighbors walking around in the middle of the night, way creepy...
I was also lucky enough to find two jobs right off the bat! Which I was so thankful for because I was going stir crazy in Greenville! I started working at North Trenholm Baptist Church Weekday Program as the assistant teacher in a 4yr old classroom, and let me tell you, it was a BLAST. Those kids and teachers were such a blessing! It made the transition so much easier for me!
I also started nannying for a sweet family that has two kiddos. They are a ton of fun and definitely keep me on my toes! It is quite a transisiton going from little ones in the morning to mid-elementary in the afternoon, but I love it!
It has also been a year of CELEBRATION!!! Lets see: Timmy had his 24th birthday, and I of coarse turned the ripe old age of 23! Not to mention that Timmy and I shared our 1 year anniversary!! God has been so gracious to our family and Timmy and I are so thankful that He has guided us every step of the way!

We also decided to add a new member to our family! It took quite a bit of convincing but Timmy finally gave in and let me pick out a puppy!!! I was so excited! However, Timmy really wanted to frisbee dog so we searched and searched different rescue organizations for our perfect play buddy and
finally found this gem!

Timmy and I both fell in love with her and now we can't imagine our
house without her! Well, I guess it would be a lot quieter... But her
and the kitty have my heart so I wouldn't trade them for the world! I
can't believe how much she's grown already and I think we're going to
have a big dog on our hands sooner than we realize!
We both had a wonderful summer working (me), playing frisbee (Timmy), traveling, and hanging out with friends! I'm glad school has started though, it's nice to get back into a "normal" routine! This year I am working in a 3yr old class, and teaching a science class 2 days a week! Timmy is still teaching at Covenant. Mostly middle schoolers so if you want to say a prayer for him, I think he will need all the help he can get! It definitely takes a special heart and I can't wait to see how God uses it to grow him and the impact he will have on those youngins! I am very excited about this year and can't wait to see what else God has in store for our family!
