Last night Timmy came home from work and announced, with pure excitement, that the Clemson- UNC game was going to be on at 12pm today. For me, this statement meant that I wasn't going to be able to finish watching my movie, but for Timmy it meant that he would actually be able to watch one of the games! Most days he has to head to work either before they start or at least in the first quarter. Now my husband is a die hard Clemson fan, but I on the other hand could really care less about college football... The only college team I've ever really pulled for is the CU BUFFs, but they don't get a whole lot of coverage here in the south,

so I semi-reluctantly support him in cheering for his team of choice.... Since Timmy was so excited about the game I decided to make his favorite food, which is luckily a typical football watching food, but with a twist. Timmy LOVES pizza, but I didn't just want to go get Little Caesars or pop a frosen one in the oven, so I found a super easy recipe and we both loved it! Here it is:
Ingredients:
Crescent Rolls
Pepperoni
String Cheese
Ranch/Marinara Sauce
(You can make as many or as few as you like.)
Directions:
Separate the crescent rolls into triangles. Place 4-5 pepperonis on each triangle and top with half a string cheese. Roll up and bring up sides to seal. (Sorry about the gross looking cookie sheet, not my picture... I got it straight from the website... blick)
Bake according to directions on crescent roll package.
They were great! Not to mention they only took approximently 15 to make & bake, so I call that a win! Well, here's to a successful 8-0 for Clemson! (I guess I'm now offically a fan by marriage... -_^ )
